Students at Work

Shepparton's newest restaurant has hired 18 Greater Shepparton Secondary College students for its front-of-house staff, making a nice impact on employment and job skills for these well-presented young people. Proprietor Jack Lang approached the school in recent weeks and we were very happy to provide prospective staff to this new business. 

Okami restaurant had its grand opening last week and serving customers were (from left) Valen, Maria, Julianna, Jack Lang, Asma, Eliza, Humayoon, Andrew and Sione. 

Okami serves traditional Japanese dishes from its new premises at 111 Fryers St - we wish staff (and students) the very best in their new venture!
