Industry Hub & GOTAFE skill up program

This week has seen the commencement of our year 11 and 12 SKILL UP program in partnership with the Industry Training Hub and GOTAFE Shepparton. Students have been selected through an application and interview process. This program will see students complete ten short qualifications giving them the skills to be work ready.

The theme for the Term 2 and 3 program is construction, civil construction, agriculture, work place safety and first aid.

Our year 12 group has toured Jarvis Delaney Contractors and a few other construction sites on their first day with presentations about safety and available employment.

Our year 11 group has successfully completed CI card training. Congratulations to our students for representing our college well and completing your first qualification.

We look forward to more courses such as this taking place through out the year.
