Library News

Books in high demand!

It has been a busy term in the Library with our Library Club on Wednesdays becoming so popular we have had to have a one in one out policy! The Library is definitely the place to be.

Lots of new books that were purchased with the Book Fair proceeds have arrived – and most have been borrowed already. The majority of the titles we bought were requested by the students (lots more graphic novels and Minecraft) and we have worked hard to get these new books catalogued and covered quickly (sometimes while the borrower waited patiently for us to do so). Some of our new titles include: Pig the Tourist (the latest story about the selfish little pug), After the Fall (explaining what Humpty got up to after he had his accident on the wall), Jabari Jumps (about facing a fear), the Minecraft Zombie series, Minecraft annuals, the Dogman series , and the WeirDo series (about a boy called Weir with the last name Do).

As the year draws to a close we will be concluding the borrowing of books in the first week of December. We will need all books returned in that week so we can audit our collection. If students have any library books at home please ensure they are brought in. We will send reminders if any books are outstanding.

Until then, happy reading!
