Teen Titans: Raven- Kami Garcia

Starting over isn’t easy. Raven remembers how to solve math equations and make pasta, but she can’t remember her favourite song or who she was before the accident. When strange things start happening–impossible things–Raven starts to think it might be better not to know who she was in her previous life. But as she grows closer to her foster sister, Max, her new friends, and Tommy Torres, a guy who accepts her for who she is now, Raven has to decide if she’s ready to face what’s buried in the past…and the darkness building inside her. From the #1 New York Times bestselling co-author of Beautiful Creatures Kami Garcia, and artist Gabriel Picolo, comes this first graphic novel in the Teen Titans series for DC Ink, Teen Titans- Raven.

E-BOOKS AND AUDIO BOOKS AT THE LIBRARY

The Library is trialling a new eBook and eAudio book platform for the next four weeks called ePlatform by Wheelers. EPlatform by Wheelers is a very user friendly platform that is being used by many school libraries in Australia. Both eBooks and eAudio Books are accessible via apps for mobile phones, iPads and web browser mode on laptop or desktop devices. They can download the free Wheelers ebook app from ITunes or Google Play for Android phones. All staff and students will be able to sign in until the end of term.

Students will be able to access their username (which is their school email address) and their password by checking the Compass item on their news feed.

For web browsing, simply go to our Library Page at https://lalorsc.wheelers.co/

1. Students browse and when they find something they want to borrow, they select ‘Borrow’.

2. The next screen will ask for a username and password.

Students will be able to access their username (which is their school email address) and their password by checking the Compass item on their news feed.

Feedback is welcomed and if there is enough interest, we can subscribe to this in 2020.

Please note that we will still be buying lots of printed books in the library. There are a huge range of titles by Wheelers and students will only be able to borrow an ebook if it is not checked out to another patron.
