CSEF UNIFORM VOUCHERS

If you have a student commencing Year 7 at Lalor Secondary College in 2020 the application form for a Year 7 CSEF Uniform Voucher will be posted home very shortly.  These vouchers are available to anyone who was in receipt of CSEF funding in 2019.

Please return this application form to the college as soon as possible to ensure that your child receives their voucher before the start of the 2020 school year.

PAYMENTS MADE AT THE GENERAL OFFICE

If your student brings a payment to the General Office please ask them to hand it to an office staff member and wait for their receipt.  Cash should not be placed in the students notice basket this is for permission slips only.

PAYMENTS MADE INTO THE COLLEGE’S BANK ACCOUNT

When making a payment directly into the college’s bank account please ensure that you enter your child’s student code in the reference box.  Without a reference number the office cannot match the deposit to a specific student.

Currently I have two payments that were made into the bank account that I do not know which student they belong to – if you check your statement and believe there is a payment missing please contact me at the General Office.

COLLECTION OF STUDENTS DURING THE DAY

If you are sending someone (a sibling or an aunt/uncle/grandparent) to collect your student during the day, that person must have a signed note from a parent to authorise them to collect your student for e.g. Tom may collect Betty from school at 1.30pm on the 22nd August.  The office staff are not allowed to release students to someone other than a parent without a signed note.

STATEMENTS

At the start of every term you will receive a statement in the mail which will list all outstanding fees for your student.  This will include:

Student Resources – this covers your students diary, $5 printing credit for your student to print assignments, homework etc. the school magazine at the end of the year, their locker hire, their school photo’s, information technology resources and library facilities.

Elective Fees – these fees are for subjects that require specialist materials or have continuous excursions.  When your child completes their subject selection and prints it for you to sign there is a payment report that details the elective costs for the subjects that your student has chosen.  By signing the subject selection sheet parents are acknowledging that they will be required to pay these elective fees.

School Resources – These are books prepared by the school for some subjects within the college.  These books are listed on the book list as having to be purchased from the college.

If you have any questions in regards to your statement or any other item I have written about today please do not hesitate to contact me at the General Office.

Have a great week
