House Basketball Challenge Grand Finals

As the House Basketball Challenge draws to a close for 2019 we have had some fantastic basketball games as teams vied for a spot in the grand finals.

Congratulations to The Benchwarmers (x2) who won over a very close game with the Hornets (Bradman) and will be competing next Tuesday in the grand final for the Junior House Challenge. The will be playing against The Eaglez (Paterson) in what is sure to be a good match next Tuesday.

After drawing in an earlier game the year 12 teams for Paterson and Bradman had a play-off to decide who would verse the year 10 Dunlop team in the Senior House Challenge grand final. After drawing again at the siren we went into overtime, with Jaksyn scoring a 3 pointer for Paterson and bringing home the win!

The senior grand final went off with a bang today, just in time for the newsletter! House spirit was in the air as two very talented teams battled it out on the court. Congratulations to the following participants:

In the end, the winners are grinners and Da Boizzz!!! now have the bragging rights of being the 2019 House Basketball Challenge Senior Champions! They will be presented with their award at the end of term assembly and will be treated to a pizza lunch!
