Level 3/4

3/4 News!

What a whirlwind fortnight of Remote Learning it has been! We are so incredibly proud of the students and how they continue to engage with all the online learning activities each day. We can’t thank families enough for their continued support throughout this time, and as we head into these final few weeks of Remote Learning.

Classes have been trialling WebEx Class Meetings over the past few weeks, which has been a huge hit with the students! We have loved getting to see everyone’s smiling faces, and catching up on all the exciting things that have been happening at home during Remote Learning.

In Level 3 & 4 we have also begun our new inquiry topic for the term, Our Community! Students have been learning about different types of communities, and exploring some of the similarities and differences that we share with communities of the past. From looking at changes in how we do school, to the development of the toilet, it’s been a lot of fun!

Students have also had the opportunity to take part in the whole School Wellbeing Day last week, and a range of virtual tours and excursions online. These have been a great opportunity to see and do things we might not usually get to do at school!

We would also like to warmly welcome Belinda Vickers as the newest member of the Level 3 & 4 team. Belinda is joining the team to teach 3/4C for the remainder of the year, as Samantha Carter begins her maternity leave. We’ll greatly miss having Sam as part of the team, but are so excited for her as she begins this new season!

Stay safe, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to our classrooms on June 9th!
