Deputy Principal's Report

Dear Parents/Carers,
As you can see in the photo above, school, for our children, can be a lot of fun and this can definately be seen in their faces as they performed for our upcoming promotional video. The final cut is almost complete and it really highlights the many great things that are offered in our school. It was yet another great example of the community working together as parents, students and teachers shared their thoughts about St Finbar's.

Australian Student Wellbeing Framework
A new framework for student wellbeing in schools was launched on October 19th. The new framework provides Australian schools with a vision and a set of guiding principles to support school communities to build positive learning environments, and to consider reviewing their current safety and wellbeing policies and support requirements. A key feature of the framework is the Student Wellbeing Hub which includes resources for teachers, parents and students.

SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST AVAILABLE:
Ms Stacey Dellas is available for students who may be experiencing difficulty emotionally. Stacey is a highly qualified Psychologist with many years’ experience working with children and their families. This service is completely covered by Medicare.
