Staff versus Year 9 students soccer match 

There is nothing like a friendly soccer game between the teachers and students to get the competitive juices flowing. This time, it was the teachers who were victorious  with a  1-0 win following a goal form Paul Guardiani. Thank you to Peter Hodkinson for organising the event and  well done to the team players for fostering community spirit.  

Congratulations Keira Tait

Keira Tait  (7F) has just competed at the Victorian Age Swimming Championships where she made 5 finals.  Keira  finished with an impressive array of medals:

Bronze  -  12 year old 50m freestyle

Bronze  -  12 year old 200m butterfly   

Silver  -   12 year old 100 butterfly.

Our best wishes to Keira for her upcoming travel to Perth with her swim club to compete in the WA state championships. 

Koonung Year 12 student, Alexandra Forman, is awarded Young Citizen of the Year Award  2019

Congratulations to Year 12 student Alexandra Forman who has been announced as the recipient of (and deservedly so)  the Young Citizen of the Year Award 2019 by the Whitehorse City Council. 

It is the third year in a row that a KSC student has won this award. Well done Alexandra!
