During the past two weeks Mount Erin Boarders have enjoyed a wide range of activities.
The boarders were involved in creating a beautiful thumbprint tree painting as a farewell present for Mrs Tassell. In particular, Laura Porter was a great help with this project.
Boarders have also enjoyed being involved in the great game of dodgeball. Thank you to a number of our Year 10 boys who assisted with this game. It was much appreciated.
When the sun came out the boarders took full advantage of being outside enjoying the warmth, having a kick of the football, playing basketball and netball ; all expending energy.
For the wet weather days, a new craft project has begun, providing boarders an opportunity to design and draw a pattern/logo/ name to be placed on a mug provided for each student. The range of designs has been pleasing and are now ready to be drawn onto their mugs using sharpie felt pens. The final process involves placing the completed design/ mug in an oven to bake the design permanently on the mug.
This activity has proven to be a popular one providing an opportunity of creativity and fun together.
