Specialist Home Learning: 

Week Beginning August 17

During Home Learning for Term 3, Specialist subjects have again been timetabled once a week for 25 minute blocks. All tasks this time will be presented in a ‘menu-board’ format. There will be four tasks for each Specialist area and pupils will be asked to complete one task from each specialist subject over each week.

Visual Arts

In Art this week, some of the highlights are:

Preps to Grade 2 -  Create your own decorative letter, using the first letter of your name;                                           Make your very own egg carton animal artwork.

Grades 3 and 4- Use the template (or create your own), to make a bird sculpture like artist                                  Louise Weaver; Make your own stop-motion animation

Grades 5 and 6- Makeyour own abstract collage using tissue paper, wrapping paper,                                          magazines and newspaper; Complete a stop-motion extension

Performing Arts

Grades 3 and 4- Complete the Ninja Reflex Challenge 2; What if the Big Bad Wolf wasn’t                                      the baddie that we’ve always assumed he was? Have a go at 'Smashing                                    Stereotypes'.

Grades 5 and 6- Create your own band in a 'Kitchen Composition'; Live the dream in                                           'Lockdown Location.
