We Are Up For The Challenge

Unfortunately everything didn’t quite pan out as hoped, so we are back to remote learning this week. The students all have their Red Book Box along with the confidence that they have done it before, so they can do it again. The Scotsburn staff will be working very hard to maintain strong connections with all students, and we look forward to guiding them along their learning journey throughout the coming weeks.

Compass Updates

We encourage all parents to keep a close eye on their compass feed for all updates. Compass will again be our main form of communication during remote learning.

Caring for our Animals

We would like to say a huge thank you to Logan’s family for again putting up their hand to look after our chooks at such short notice. Pip the lizard will be spending a few weeks at Mrs Anderson’s house. Let’s hope Pip stays in her enclosure and doesn’t go wandering around the house!

BBQ Area Works

Our BBQ area is now complete. We recently purchased the new BBQ that is now permanently housed in the BBQ area. Rick Innes has laid the pavers and built and installed the new bench space and security frame around the BBQ so that it remains safely in the area. Once again, we thank Rick for the enormous generosity that he has shown towards our campus.

Transition Video

With the transition days for next year’s Prep kids unavailable at this stage, we have created a short video that will soon be posted onto the school website. This video will help to showcase to perspective families the many wonderful things that happen at the campus.

Thanks to Mr Conlan for guiding the students who were involved in the speaking parts of the footage. This footage will now be added to the short video that was created by Mr Coulter & Mr O’Loughlin last year. Fingers crossed it all comes together well.
