Mental Health During COVID - 19

“Mental Health is possibly the most important aspect of COVID-19 concerning children”
Dr James Best (GP and Chair of the RACGP Specific Interests Child and Young Person’s Health)
No matter how the coronavirus pandemic is affecting you and your family, we are here to help. Supporting children’s mental health during this time will help them adjust to the current upheaval and potentially avoid long-term mental health difficulties.
Minds That Matter Psychology is continuing to support children and their parents by offering bulk-billed access to telehealth psychological sessions during the pandemic.
The Victorian government has also recently announced that it has increased the number of Medicare rebated psychology sessions that children can access during the pandemic.
If you would like to discuss accessing psychological support, please feel free to contact your school’s well being coordinator or Dr Jennifer Papoutsis (Program Director) on enquiries@mindsthatmatterpsychology.com.au or 0435 910 447.
