Principal's message

Dear families,

Welcome to the first newsletter for the 2023 school year.

We offer a special welcome to the families that have joined our school community this year. It was wonderful to meet many of you at the Acquaintance event last Tuesday evening. This event provided families with the opportunity to meet the staff, learn about the class routines and expectations and our specialist programs.  It also provided an opportunity for families to meet one another and connect.

Our next opportunity to come together as a school community will be our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday 21 March. Please look out for more details of the AGM later this week.

If you were not able to attend the Acquaintance evening, each of our specialist teachers and new staff have introduced themselves in this newsletter. We are enjoying getting to know each of our new staff and welcome them to our school community.

So that you keep up with news and events, it is important to be connected to See Saw. Each teacher has an account and regularly communicates updates, important dates and shares the learning your child is engaging in. If you need support connecting to a See saw

account, please ask us for our assistance.

Your child's health and safety is important to us. During summer, it is important that your child comes to school with their school hat. Please assist them to make sure they have a hat each day. We also seek your support to ensure that your child is walking through the school safely. When you arrive or leave the school grounds, please model the use of the designated pedestrian walkway to ensure everyone's safety as this keeps you and your child away from moving vehicles and out of the carpark area.

Kind regards,

Terena Pope
