Blackfriars Old Scholars Football Club

Senior Coach Announcement 2018 Season

It is with great pleasure that Blackfriars Old Scholars Football Club announce the appointment of Nathan Grainger as Senior Coach for 2018.

Nathan brings to the role an immense wealth of experience and an extremely impressive record of success. Coaching Gaza to the 2011 Division One Premiership saw Nathan take out the first of three Metropolitan Coach of the Year awards. He led Modbury’s rise from Division Three to Division One, winning the 2014 Division Three flag and 2016 Division Two Premiership on the way.

Previously, Nathan coached Mount Lofty to back-to-back Hills Football League Division One Premierships in 2006-07 before two years as Senior Reserves Coach at West Adelaide Football Club in the SANFL in 2008-09.

Nathan’s football knowledge and experience will be a great boost to our club as we continue to work for greater success and promotion above and beyond Division Five.

He will be assisted by BOSFC dual A Grade Premiership Coach (2006, 2007) and continuing Reserves Coach John Belton.

The Blackfriars Old Scholars Football Club committee is excited to welcome Nathan and his family to the club and looks forward to working with him towards a successful 2018 season.

Anyone interested in joining the Hounds in 2018 either as a player, member or volunteer are extremely welcome and are encouraged to contact either Nathan on 0404 365 498 or club president Michael Clarke on 0429 190 990.
