Introduction

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Justine Harvey and I’m your new Governing Council Chairperson. The first thing I would love to say is a big Thank you to our previous chairperson Leanne Rehill and acknowledge all of her hard work and efforts for our school over her years representing Para Vista as the Chairperson. I’m very new to this school so many of you may not know me, I’m a mum to 5 children aged 4, 9, 12, 13 and 26. I have a child in preschool, one in year 3 and one in year 6. I am very passionate about children and their education. I was employed as an SSO in special education for a number of years and at at our previous school I was on the governing council and on other committees. Please feel free to come up and talk to me at any time about issues you would like me to take to the council or just for a chat.
