Greek Cooking Masterclass

Event Success, Raises $2800

Last week’s Greek Cooking Masterclass event was an outstanding success raising $2800 for Lockleys North Primary School. There would not be one of the 55 people who purchased a ticket who did not have a good time or leave with a smile on their face.

These activities are more than about raising money (although that is an underlying important factor). More importantly, as the majority of those who did attend had no connection to LNPS, the perception they have of our school as a community that will leave a lasting positive imprint on their minds.

George and Eleni Diakomichalis and the team at Kalymnos Pastries, words cannot express our gratitude for what you have delivered (again) and your contribution to make this event happen – thank you.

LNPS is lucky to have what some other schools don’t have and would clearly love; we have heart and a sense of community. Special thanks must go to Noah Dew and Emmanuel Zaikis for delivering all the technical and AV support any event could ever need and shout out to sous chefs, Anna Diakomichalis and Luca D’Aloia.

These events are only possible due to a larger team effort, thanks to the Governing Council and extra special acknowledgements to Tyson Grinham, Micki Cooke, Tegan Dart and Gena Patini from the LNPS staff team in regards to set up and operational support on the night as well as the all-important pack up. Thank you!

Funds raised from this event will go towards the artistic painting of the external air conditioner covers alongside the wall of the gym with a native bird mural and nod to our history with celebrating 60 years of Lockleys North Primary School.
