Years 3 and 4

Healthy Habits

This term in the 3/4 area we have been learning about healthy habits. In Mr Kirby's space, students have learnt more about healthy eating, what foods they should be eating all the time and what foods they should be eating sometimes. Students created colourful and informative 3D Food pyramids with some of their favourite foods.    

Lent and Easter Crafts

In our Religious Education classes, the 3/4 Community have explored the amazing work of Caritas and the differences that our donations can make to people all around the world. We have learnt about the stories and symbols of Lent, Holy Week and the celebration of new life at Easter.  This week the students have really enjoyed making crafts that help us to understand the symbols and traditions of Lent and the significance of the new life symbols at Easter. We rotated around each of the Years 3/4 classes to create a stained glass window cross, a mosaic Easter card with cross, wool crosses, rabbits and a cross decorated with the Pascal candle.
