HARVEST MASS THANKS

Thank you to those who attended our Harvest Mass and for generously donating food to St Vincent de Paul Society.

Photos are on display at the back of the church, as well as some being on our website and Facebook page.

DEVELOPING OUR PARISH STRATEGIC PLAN

A reminder that the PPC invites parishioners to pray and reflect on the set of 5 Priorities [on display at the back of the church, as well as on our Parish Website (under ‘Other Information’) and Facebook], and to send them any comments, suggestions or areas that may have been missed.

These responses can be forwarded by email to our parish email Kyabram@cdos.org.au or in an envelope addressed to PPC via the Sunday Mass collection plate.

Our next workshop will be held on Wednesday 28th April where we will develop the objectives to address these priorities.

DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY

Divine Mercy Sunday devotions will take place following the 7.00pm Mass on Saturday, 10th April.

On Feb 22, 1931 Jesus appeared to Sister Faustina a Polish nun. Jesus called for a Feast of Divine Mercy to be celebrated in the whole Church. He said to her “I want this image to be solemnly blessed on the first Sunday after Easter; that Sunday is to be the Feast of Mercy. On that day, the depths of My Mercy will be open to all. Whoever will go to confession and Holy Communion on that day will receive complete forgiveness of sin and punishment. Mankind will not enjoy peace until it turns with confidence to My Mercy.”
