Students from Baotou Foreign Languages School visit University of Melbourne
A party of 15 students from Baotou Foreign Languages School (in China’s Inner Mongolian Region) visited Australia last week, and included in their ten day trip was a 5 day intensive school program at Northcote High School. This was especially focused around English language experience and included VCE Unit 2 class observations, EAL master classes and Chinese first language master classes. Other activities stretched English capacity – like following English instructions to cook a meat pie, making a drone fly, going to the footy and watching the school production!
Weekends were packed - with trips to the Great Ocean Road, the Dandenong ranges and getting to know Melbourne.
