Year 10 Volleyball - gold medalists at the Victorian Volleyball School’s Cup
Over a weekend 4 teams represented NHS at the Victorian Volleyball School’s Cup. Each team spent 3 days playing and refereeing games and it was very pleasing to see the players represent the school with lots of enthusiasm and demonstrating fairness and a sporting attitude.
Here are the results:

The Year 9 team have now been playing for two years and are improving significantly. They are very dedicated and committed to training and tournaments.

The 7/8 team have only been playing for a few months and are new to the sport but they won 4 games, which is a fantastic achievement. The girls are very enthusiastic and passionate about volleyball and are keen to keep improving their skills.
The players will continue training and playing practice matches throughout Term 3 and 4 and are preparing for the national tournament on the 9th-14th December. We are currently looking for coaches and team managers for our teams so if you’d like to be involved in our program, please let me know. It is a great way to build positive relationships and be a part of the Northcote community.
