Bayside Mayor Visits Grade 3 Students

This term the Grade 3 students have been inquiring into how rules and laws support communities. We focused on the Bayside community to understand how local government functions and supports citizens. 

On Tuesday May 25th, the Mayor of Bayside, Alex del Porto came to visit. He answered questions by the students about how laws are made, why and how laws change, the responsibilities of the Bayside Council, differences between councils and how local laws impact the community.
