REC News

Please note that dates have been changed for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Please see Compass for further information.

Dear Parents and Carers,

Students are continuing their learning about the Catholic Principles and Values. This week, we are focusing on The Principle of Fidelity in Relationships. As Christians, we believe that Christ entered this world to give witness to the truth, to rescue and not sit in judgement, and to serve and not to be served.

This Principle has four values - Call to Family, Community and Participation, Sacredness of Self, Sacredness of Marriage and Sacredness of the Family.

Our students learn that all relationships are made holy and sacred through Jesus. We are called to be truthful and faithful in our relationships. We know our learners understand this principle when they can demonstrate respect for the sacredness of self and others and understand the sacredness of marriage and family.

A quick reminder for Year 2 Baptised Catholic students, our Parent Information Night for the Sacrament of Reconciliation has been postponed. A Compass post has been sent regarding the new dates.

Yours in faith,

Karlee Hatton
