Around The School
Lunch Time Fun
Several students from a variety of year levels spent recess and lunch time on Tuesday creating the most amazing moat! Pip then got them a hose so they could fill it with water. We were so impressed by their team work, it was lovely to see.
Choir Is Back!
It was so wonderful to see our amazing music teacher Rhiannon conducting our 2022 OOPS Choir in readiness for Open Night. Office staff were treated to a beautiful performance on the front steps of the school during the week, before the roaming choir weaved through the corridors entertaining everyone. They sounded incredible.
Zong Zi
We are so grateful to Tracey for giving up her time to help the Year 6's make Zong Zi. First we wrapped the bamboo leaf into a cone, then we put rice inside the cone and wrapped it up to make a triangle shape. Afterwards we tied a string around the Zong Zi to keep it together when steamed. After we finished we had to wait 20 minutes for the Zong Zi to steam. When the Zong Zi was done we topped it with sugar and tried it, it was delicious! We all had a wonderful time making Zong zi!
