A message from the Assistant Principal

Dear Parents and carers,

Term two seems to have flown by! The last fortnight has been a particularly exciting time for the Grade Two students with swimming back. I was lucky enough to attend on the first day and although the weather wasn’t kind to us, the excitement surpassed the chill we all felt on the day. With an umbrella in one hand and swimming bag in the other the Grade two students made their way to the pool. Jumping puddles was part of the fun and seeing the students participating with such enthusiasm was wonderful to see.

Another exciting event last week took place in the upper school, with year 4, 5 and 6’s all heading to the Arts Centre to see the Baker Boy concert. I passed the students upon their return with brand new “merch”on their heads and smiles on their faces.

It is great to see our students re-engaging with activities and excursions and bringing fun back to their learning. The behaviour of our students at both excursions made teachers proud and I know the Grade 3 and 4 students will be looking forward to their swimming program to begin next term.

I hope you had a wonderful and restful long weekend,

Susan Williamson

Assistant Principal
