Here is a recipe from Miss Tran. It looks delicious! 

 

Ingredients: 

  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 3 large chillies (optional)
  • 300g of spaghetti
  • 250g of prawns
  • 1 can diced tomatoes ​
  • 200g cherry/grape tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • parsley
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper

 

Method 

  1. ​Follow packet instructions to cook pasta. Ensure that water is well salted before cooking.
  2. Drain pasta, reserving some pasta water on the side.
  3. In a large pan, saute the garlic and chilli on medium heat.
  4. Add cherry tomatoes to the pan, saute until softened. Use the back of a spoon to crush the tomatoes.
  5. Add tomato paste and mix until well combined.
  6. Add canned tomato and wait for the sauce to come to a boil.
  7. Salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Add the prawns to the sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes until prawns are just cooked through.
  9. Add the pasta to the sauce. Mix until well combined. Add the reserved pasta water to loosen sauce as necessary.
  10. Turn the heat off and toss the parsley in. Mix until well combined.
  11. Salt and pepper to taste.
