ONLINE LEARNING AND RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Teachers have continued to work hard to address the learning needs of students in this challenging time, where expectations are varied and demands are high.  We have been pleased with the tasks produced by students in their PBL's with a Religious Education focus.  Several of these have been posted on our school Facebook page.  Where the PBL is not based directly on Religious Education content then teachers work to incorporate the Catholic Principles and Values into the unit of work.  We acknowledge that parents continue to be the first teachers of faith for their children and our focus remains on supporting you with this.

MARY, HELP OF CHRISTIANS FEAST DAY

In 1844, Mary, the mother of Jesus, under the title Help of Christians, was designated Australia's chief patron. The feast day for Mary, Help of Christians normally falls on the 24th May. This year, as this date is a Sunday, the Australian Bishops have decided that the feast day will be transferred to Monday 25th May.

ROSARY

The month of May is dedicated to Mary, the mother of Jesus.   The Pope has asked us, at this time, to pay particular attention to praying the rosary at home with our families.  To assist in this, included below are some guidelines for saying the rosary. There are also some excellent resources available on the Parish website.
