Classroom News - Year 6

Week 3 Working From Home

Week 3's work focused on how the arts helps us to connect with our communities and we had some fantastic creations once again. Here is a sample of what we received:

Week 4

This week's guiding question "What does it mean to be Australian?" has students examining what makes them Australian and all of the different forms this can take. It has been great to see student emails and posting to Google Classroom making use of 'netiquette'. This has been an unforeseen upside to all of the work happening online.

As students began gradually returning to school this week, it has been such a pleasure to catch up with them, talk to them and assist them in their learning. We look forward to seeing more of them in the coming weeks as we transition back to full-time school-based learning.

Water Bottles & Hats:

Just a reminder that the children need to bring their own water bottle to school as the bubblers are not in use. Students are forgetting to take hats home with them on the days they are in which has led to some students accidentally taking the wrong hat home. Please check that your child has the correct hat.
