Year 12 Online Student Success Information Evening

6.00pm on Microsoft Teams

Thursday 17 February 6pm- 7pm

Year 12 students and their families are invited to attend the online Success Information Evening to gain a deeper understanding of how to best succeed in their final year of schooling. Parents will be given strategies on how to best support their child including motivation techniques, stress management, common issues and how to overcome them, information about good study habits and the difference between homework and study.

School Photos Day

Friday 18 February

Parents/carers must order photos online via Compass. There will be a catch up day on Wednesday 23 February for students who were absent. 

Year 7-9 Online Parent/Carer Information Evening

Monday 21 February 6pm - 7pm

Parents/carers will be given strategies on how to best support their child including motivation techniques, stress management, common issues and how to overcome them, information about good study habits and the difference between homework and study.

There will also be tips on how to use the Compass Parent Portal and information on how your child learns at school, including using binders, the student planner and Cornell note taking. 

Staff Professional Development Day (student free day)

Tuesday 1 March

The College Board has approved this day as a student free day. Teachers will be analysing student data and determining how they can best support each student throughout the year. The general offices will be open.

Whole School Athletics Carnival

Friday 4 March

Once again our College will be holding its annual Athletics Carnival where students have the opportunity to participate in events and win points for their House. Students will be transported to the track by bus and will return to school by 3.00pm.

All students are expected to be in attendance and are encouraged to come dressed in their House colours to support their peers on the day.
