Personal Inquiries

This term we have been inquiring across the school into  our health and healthy relationships. What helps us to maintain a healthy mind, body and soul? This has looked different from Prep (how do I keep myself healthy?) through to in Grade 5/6 (Does money make us happy?). At the end of the class inquiry students have the opportunity to parsonally inquire into an area of the general inquiry that they wish to further their knowledge in. In Grade 3/4 the students negotiated personal inquiries and Hannah inquired into the health of our hearts, and what we need to do to keep our hearts pumping healthily. The students can also negotiate how they present their personal inquiries Hannah as you can see below has presented her learning creatively through a movie. Well done Hannah.

French Plays

During this last semester the students have all had the opportunity to learn a play in French. These plays introduce and use throughout them high frequency language so that they are a fun way to reinforce our everyday language and gestures. Each level works on a different play, this year the plays the students have worked on are;

Prep: La Poule Maboule

Grade 1and 2:  Le Chat et La Lune

Grade 3/ 4: Boucles Violettes et les trois ours

Grade 5/ 6: Ou est Mon Chien?
