Pride Crew
Gisborne Secondary College has a long history of supporting and celebrating LGBTIQA+ students at our school by proudly flying the rainbow flag, holding regular Pride Crew catchups, hosting LGBTIQA+ events and recognising LGBTIQA+ days of significance.
Pride Crews are co-led by Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health’s WayOut Program in partnership with the GSC Wellbeing Team. Pride Crews are held every second Tuesday lunchtime and are a safe, confidential and affirming space for our rainbow students and allies to come together, meet new friends and chat rainbows. Pride Crews are an important part of creating inclusive school environments where all students can thrive. GSC Pride Crew has commenced in 2022, on Tuesday lunchtimes.

Child Wellbeing and COVID: National Survey
Child Wellbeing and COVID: National Survey | Australian Human Rights Commission
Australia’s National Children’s Commissioner wants to hear from children and their families about how living through the past two years of COVID-19 has affected their mental health and wellbeing.
The Commissioner is surveying children and young people aged nine to seventeen (and their parents, grandparents & carers) to find out more about the unique challenges they have faced over the past two years and the social, emotional, educational, and other impacts they have experienced.
