Parent Payments

The 2022 parent payments are on QKR for your convenience. All of the timetables have now been finalised so students will know the subjects they are taking this year.

If you require parent payment forms for your child these can be found on the GSC website under the Resources tab or you can collect them from the school reception.

You are welcome to pay via QKR, direct deposit or BPay. We are aiming to put the curriculum contributions payments on XUNO later this year also for your convenience.

Excursion Permissions and Payments

As advised in the newsletter last year we are transitioning over to XUNO to collect our permissions and payments.

The advantages of using XUNO are that you can see what approvals/payments are required, both of which can be done on XUNO and the information on there is live – in the past when we have used QKR the information has had to be manually transferred over to XUNO from QKR.

So far the uptake and feedback has been really positive. Please contact the school office if you need assistance downloading the XUNO app or getting a password reset.

If you wished to pay for an excursion using CSEF or credit on your account you can do the permission on XUNO and either call or email the school to advise of the payment method you wish to utilise.

CSEF Reminder

We are still accepting 2022 CSEF applications.

If your child is new to the school this year – irrespective of whether they already have siblings here – a new CSEF application form must be completed for each new student.

If your child has already received CSEF as a student of this school we will have applied for 2022 CSEF automatically for them. Please contact the finance office for further information or confirmation. Click here for more information and eligibility criteria.

VCAL Payment Structure

Our VCAL program payment structure has changed this year.

The charges for the student resource workbooks for the VCAL subjects can be found on the parent payment forms – these are the booklets students will be provided with and use during class time.

Instead of an upfront charge for VCAL excursions, we are now putting the excursion charges on as the excursion occurs. These charges will be available on XUNO before the excursion takes place and there will be plenty of communication prior regarding costs and dates.

Administration:

Vaccination Cards - Year 7 Students

Immunisations for year 7 students is on Monday 7th March.

Can parents please ensure that all vaccination cards are returned to the front office by Friday 18th February.

Contacting students during school time & picking up students

A reminder to families that we do not do announcements over the loud speaker during class times. We completely understand that at times you need to get an unexpected message to your child, or drop something off, and we are more than happy to deliver this message however if your child knows they are being picked up, please provide your child with a note to give to their class teacher requesting they be allowed to leave class.

Late arrival at school

All students that arrive late to school are required to come via the front office to collect a late note, this allows us to know the student is present and update their attendance.

Early departure from school

All students departing from school MUST come via the front office to be signed out by a parent or a person listed as an emergency contact. If there is any variation to this you are required to contact the front office, and in most circumstances you will be requested to provide your request in a written email or note.
