1st XI Saunders-Di Venuto Shield 

Our 1st XI was outplayed by a very polished Hutchins team who managed to maintain the Shield for a second successive year. Prior to that we had held the Shield for eight consecutive years! The game was played in wet and cold conditions but our boys fought hard to stay in the game all day. Unfortunately a middle order collapse derailed our chase and left us well short of the target set by Hutchins. 

For some of our Year 10s it was their last game in SVC colours and we thank them sincerely for their rich contribution to the cricket programme during their four years at the College.
