Anxiety in Your Child Webinar

It was amazing to see that we had over 90 families register to watch Dr. Justin Coulson discuss ways, as a parent, to deal with anxiety in your child. As always, Dr. Justin provides such a refreshing and realistic take on any topic that he speaks about. This was yet another really helpful webinar with lots of tips for parents and a real acknowledgement that not all anxiety is an anxiety disorder and that some level of anxiety at particular times is completely normal. Two points that stuck with me were: "thoughts are thoughts, not facts" and "the best antidote for anxiety is curiosity". I know I'll be watching it again to make sure I take it all in. I highly recommend that if you didn't have an opportunity to register that you watch via this link.

Holiday Message

I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all our families a happy and safe holiday! We don’t know what Term Four will look like as yet and whether our children will be back at school, but we can try to put that out of our minds and concentrate on being present in the moment.

I encourage you to take time to play with your children, the family favourite in my household is Phase 10, a card game that my daughter has an uncanny knack for beating us all at. Take time to go to the park and get some exercise walking or riding your bikes.

We look forward to seeing you face to face or remotely, refreshed and raring to go!
