4B - If you were on the front page of a magazine, what would it be for?

The Year 2021

This year was an interesting year. We had to go through lockdown and many other experiences, such as an earthquake and power outages.

In Term 1 we went to The Royal Botanical Gardens with all the Year 4’s. It was full of trees, small lakes and many more. A lady handed out clay for all of us to make a sculpture. It was so much fun. We also made clay mold and saw a thousand year old tree that someone bad chopped down . We learnt many interesting things about plants and our environments.

In term 2 we went to ACMI. In ACMI we visited a museum with video games, a big movie screen, with sculptures and more!

In Term 3, we learnt from home on zoom because of the lockdown in Australia. All the students in BEPS had to do remote learning at home. Some days we did clubs, such as cooking and Minecraft. We also got our groove on during Disco Jackie. It was amazing because I got to see my family for the whole day!

Because we missed out on Camp, all the Year 4s participated in the Survivor Camp Challenge. We did cool and fun activities, such as, holding a balloon full of water above our heads and our teacher would pop it with a pin so the water went all over ourselves! Lucky it was such a hot day; it was 32 degrees!
