Year 12s Return!

It has been an exciting return to school for our Year 12 students. It’s been so pleasing to see the students embracing the chance to strengthen those social connections that they’ve missed, while also having a strong focus on their studies. The GAT and Trial Exams went really smoothly, and students only have a handful of days left until they head off on Swot Vac. 

School hasn’t been as warm as we are used to, due to the ventilation and no-heater policy for COVID safe guidelines. However, the students have taken the new policies in their stride and we look forward to celebrating with all students in November and December.

CARE PACKS

A huge thank you to Rotary Club of Doncaster for hand packing a beautiful care pack for every Year 12 student, as a way of them showing their support to the students as they approach their final exams. 

The packs included some much needed energy boosting food (chocolate), stress balls, stationary and information around the things that Rotary do for our community. Our students were really appreciative of the gesture, and we thank Rotary Doncaster for putting in the hours and energy to show their support for our students. 

We hope that some of our Year 12 students will look to be involved in Rotary for years to come.

Please see the timeline below for the remaining Year 12 key events for 2021. Valedictory will be live-streamed to families, and the Year 12 Formal will be held on school grounds. More information to come in the coming weeks.

It was great to see the PE students finishing off their final folio prac this week! Only a 3 month delay from the original date.
