Week 3 Term 4

Dear Parents and Carers,

In the Catholic Faith tradition, the Catholic Church dedicates each month of the year to a certain devotion. The month of October is dedicated to the holy Rosary. October includes the Feast Day of Our Lady of the Rosary (October 7th). The best way to celebrate the month is of course, to pray the Rosary.  During this time of lockdown where families are home together might be an opportunity to spend a half an hour a night praying to Mary for all your intentions.

FOUNDATION RETURN

Today we welcomed back the first of our students. It was fantastic to see their smiling faces and not to mention the smiles on the parent’s faces! I greeted them with a surprise gift this morning in the yard to help with their transition back to school.

COVID SAFE PLAN –UPDATE

Last week (October 14th) I published an update and summary of the main points to the latest CECV Schools Operations Guide. However, given the Premiers announcement yesterday, we are awaiting advice and further updates. Once we have received these updates we will revise and update St Fidelis’ COVID-19 Safe Plan. The COVID-19 Safe Plan will then be communicated to all families via SkoolBag and newsletter.

In addition, I would like to inform all the community that we have arranged our cleaning contractor to clean all buildings twice a day.

SACRAMENTS & WHOLE SHOOL GATHERINGS
