Music

Elective Music students from years 9 to 12 performed their assessment pieces in front of a live audience at the end of last term. The night was a great success and allowed the students to develop their stagecraft and improve their ensemble skills. All involved did an amazing job.

Our Music Elective students experienced the magic of Taikoz drumming at a workshops held by Taikoz Australia.  Students learnt how to play a range of Taiko instruments with correct drumming technique within a large ensemble setting.

The Gunnedah Music Eisteddfod is fast approaching and our school music ensembles have been busy preparing their items.  They will compete against other local schools on Wednesday 24th May in the morning session.  All are invited to the Gunnedah Town Hall to support our young musicians in this competition.
