CLASSROOM HELPERS

Thank you to those families who have reached out to their children's classroom teachers to offer to help in the classroom. We are happy to inform families that in Term 2 teachers will be welcoming classroom helpers into their classes. These volunteers will help to provide additional support in the classroom. All classroom helpers will be provided with guidance and resources to support them and to ensure consistency throughout the school.  

In order to volunteer within classrooms, all helpers will need to have a current Working With Children's Check (WWCC),  a copy of which must be provided to the school office. We ask that all parents who have already shown an interest in volunteering to ensure that their WWCC is currently in date. When a parent helper attends for a classroom session they will need to sign in at the front desk, as well as see Dana to ensure she has all the relevant registration information for Occupational Health and Saftey purposes. 

Teachers will be sending out communication early this term to determine who is available to support in the classroom. We believe that the involvement of families is crucial to the success of our students and are grateful for the support and commitment of our classroom helpers.
