1BAidan MFor making such a great effort to listen, Aidan has improved his listening skills throughout the term and is beginning to manage his body really well when transitioning. On top of all this, Aidan is a pleasure to teach and brightens up our classroom with his infectious smile. Go doggies, Aidan!
1CHarley PFor his fantastic demonstration of the Wembley school values of respect and empathy. Harley, I have never met anyone as polite and considerate as you are. Thank you for caring for our classmates and teachers so well, we appreciate you!
1DAddison SFor your amazing effort in writing this week. Addie, you recorded all the sounds you could hear and wrote some great sentences. Well done! You are a 1D superstar! 
2ARuby TFor being a wonderful part of 2A this year!  Ruby, you are a hardworking student, an amazing member of the class and a beautiful friend.  Thank you for bringing such fun and joy to the class each day.  We wish you continued success at your new school.  We will all miss you!!!

It was wonderful to see Lewis participating in our class survivor challenge in Concept where he fostered a sense of teamwork by cooperating with his group members to successfully complete different challenges. PCEvie BFor taking pride in the presentation of your work. Evie, I was so proud of the way you created your number flowers and had a go at writing your numbers correctly. Keep up the amazing work!  
PDMax SFor the hard work that he has put into his reading. Max, you are using the ‘good readers’ strategies so well, and use the picture and the starting sound to work out the word beautifully. Keep up the amazing work!
PEGreta MFor the outstanding effort and focus you show towards your learning.  You always try your best and challenge yourself with new ideas.  Keep up the wonderful attitude!
1AKaspar SFor his fantastic efforts in presenting his fascinating facts to the class this week. Your presentation was very engaging and you spoke nice and clearly to the class. I can’t wait to hear more of your presentations. Keep up the great work, Kaspar!
1BSophie P For demonstrating such an impressive growth mindset this week, Sophie has returned to school and tried her best and been resilient with her learning. Sophie is also always incredibly friendly to her peers and a pleasure to teach.

4AEthan TFor his amazing focus during our Maths lessons this week. You approached the ANZAC mapping lesson with enthusiasm and kept going until you had completed the route the soldiers took. Keep up the great work, well done Ethan!
4BElla EFor her focused approach to our Fraction lessons. Ella, you have been listening very carefully and working hard to successfully apply your new knowledge and skills, especially when faced with the challenge of counting by fractions on a number line. Well done Ella. You should be so proud of yourself.  
4CHunter RFor showing impressive resilience in your maths learning this week. When you have been in the learning pit for fractions, you have never stopped trying to apply your new knowledge and skills. Keep up the fantastic work Hunter, you should be proud!
4DClaire T​​For always trying your very best no matter what! Whenever we learn something new in class, you never give up until you have figured it out. With such an amazing attitude, I have no doubt you can do whatever you want to do and be whatever you want to be. You can even buy yourself flowers and write your name in the sand. Congratulations Claire and well deserved!

If there are any acknowledgements that parents/students wish to share with us and can be celebrated with our wider community, we ask that you email us at wembley.ps@education.vic.gov.au with the student/s name/s, a summary of the acknowledgement and any photos that you would be comfortable sharing and we will aim to include it in our fortnightly WPS newsletter.
