Annual Year 10 Formal

The annual Year 10 Formal was held on Friday 16 October at the Peninsula Kensington Country Golf Club. The Formal was organised by students, Mrs Wood and Mrs Demidowski as a celebration of students learning on the 7-10 Campus. The theme was “Red Carpet” which allowed everyone to dress up in their “best”. Photographs were taken by Mr De Valle and there is video of the “red carpet walk”.

Our students displayed many of our mission values including effective communication and excellent social behaviours that contribute to society. Venue staff, official photographers from GFP Formals and DJ Pete all commented on what wonderful young adults the students at Frankston High School are.

Outstanding shoes on the red carpet: Natasha Lakkis

Most Elegantly Dressed Female: Keshini Sanashee

Most Classy Male: Cort Campbell

Cutest couple: Emma Blood and Ben Webster

King and Queen of the formal (who encouraged everyone to become involved) Cameron Dawson and Belinda Cracknell

A very big thankyou to Mrs Wood for her outstanding organisation. Thanks also to Kate Oades and Charlotte Bowman for designing the formal posters and tickets, Maisie Everett for the awards certificates, Danai Harawa for organising the music requests and the formal committee members: Jolie Gardiner, Leah Kelly, Silk Castellas Cartwright, Lizette Gerryts, Ukke Saloabilla, Nalani Bal, Sam Jones, Josephina Nyikang, Abbey Graham, Bridget Foster, Shannon Stevena, Prudence Foster and Brooke Collins.

Thanks to all the students who attended on the night, we are very proud of the young adults you are maturing into.
