House Vice Captains
House Vice Captains
Week 1 has seen the Year 11 students have the opportunity to nominate for the role of House Vice Captain. This was a very quick process with the students being given 24 hours to nominate and write a speech to present to their House. The speech needed to address the Role Description:
- Demonstrate a commitment to their studies at the College
- Are involved in the life of the College
- Demonstrate an ability to work as part of a leadership team
- Follow the expectations, ethos and values of the College and are positive role models
- Are willing to support the decisions of College staff
- Are confidently able to organise House Teams for College sports carnivals and other activities
- Foster House and College spirit at all times by involving all members of the House
- Form the foundation of the “College Liturgical Committee” and actively participate in College Liturgies
- Actively participates in College and Community Service activities whenever possible
All students who nominated presented exceptional speeches which highlighted that any of them could be the next leaders of our College. Many teachers commented on the high standard of students and the quality of their speeches which did not just talk about their sporting talents.
