Half Yearly Examinations

Half Yearly Examinations are now complete. As students receive their results, it is an opportune time to reflect on their preparation. What worked? What needs to improve? I have seen many students who have set realistic and achievable goals, students who are prepared to learn, who subsequently achieve at high levels.

Parent Teacher Student Conferences

Parent Teacher Student Conferences will be on Wednesday 3 July from 3:30pm - 7:30pm. Year 10 students, in particular, should use this time to help inform their decision making for selecting subjects in 2020. A letter outlining how to make a booking will be emailed to all families.

Taste of TAFE

For those students in Year 9 and Year 10 interested in TAFE and further training options such as School Based Apprenticeships, Mrs Barrett and I will host a TVET/ SBAT information evening early next term. I have emailed students to meet with me this Friday morning, to arrange a visit to TAFE on Wednesday 26 June . Permission notes and registration information will be provided. Students should check their emails for further instructions.

Year 11 2020 - Subject Selection

Next term, Year 10 students will begin the process of choosing courses for Year 11 2020. Following this, students will have time with Mrs Barrett the College Careers Adviser, our Leaders of Learning and teachers, for further subject specific information.

Dates, times and venues for these information evenings will be advertised in the next newsletter, and in our daily notices and social media pages.
