Leader of Student Wellbeing

Year 7

Unfortunately, the presentation from the Police Liaison School Officer on Cyber Safety, during this week's  Academic Pastoral Care (APC) has been postponed until next term.

 

Year 8

Students are looking forward to an  action packed exercise activity, Jump Rope for Heart next Tuesday. Students have been asked to raise money for the Heart Foundation. Please bring fundraising money on the day.

 

Year 9

All Year 9 students have been working on choreographing their 'Movement Performance' assessment task in PDHPE lessons this semester. They will perform these, and be assessed, on their performance in the Rosary Centre auditorium on Tuesday 25 June .

 

Year 10

Students are looking forward to their ski trip on 23 - 26 July 2019. Please contact Mrs Gale,  Year 10  Leader of Student Care, if you have any questions on the excursion.

 

Year 11 & 12

Many students are completing Assessment Tasks right up until the end of term. It is important for students to maintain a balanced routine of school work/study, part time jobs, sporting commitments and social life.

Parents can access the Senior Assessment schedule on the McCarthy website page to keep track of tasks and dates they are due. Login: parent  Password: Parent2340!    

 

Elevate Education

As part of our focus area for 2019, the College has enlisted the company “Elevate Education” to present two, one hour seminars to Year 11 and 12 students on Tuesday, 25 June 2019.

These Seminars will provide students with relevant, effective and proven strategies to achieve personal success in the HSC.

Year 12 students will attend seminars:

  1. Study Sensei (10:00am – 11:00am)
  2. Time Management (11:30am – 12:30pm)

Year 11 students will attend seminars:

  1. Ace Your Exams (12:30pm – 1:30pm)
  2. Memory Mnemonics (2:00pm – 3:00pm)

Students will be provided with information booklets.

 

Uniform

Our supplies of student ties are dwindling in the Clothing Pool. If families would like to donate any excess uniform items including ties, we would gladly accept them through the College Office.
