Sapphire
Sapphire community has had a fantastic start to the term. During the first week of the term, we all made ANZAC biscuits to commemorate our ANZAC’s. Everyone was able to make their own biscuit and then eagerly waited for them to cook. We also learned about the sacrifices that ANZAC’s made and the history behind this special day.
Last Friday, we celebrated Mother’s Day by welcoming our Mum’s into the community. The students participated in a number of activities such as drawing a picture of Mum, writing a card to her and even decorating a pot that they were able to take home to give to their Mum. We’d like the thank all of the Mum’s that came to visit our community on Friday. For those who weren’t able to make it we hope you enjoyed your little gift!
