Year 4 Diamonds.

Last term Year 4 Diamonds studied dinosaurs. We learnt a lot about the different time periods and dinosaurs that lived in them. We investigated how dinosaur fossils were created and got to create our own. We followed a procedure to create playdough and plaster of paris. We used plastic dinosaurs and leaves to create imprints and moulds out of the playdough, then filled them with plaster and let them dry. Year 4 held a Dinosaur Archaeology Dig day for Junior School where everyone got to come and dig up their own fossils from dig site Diamond. Everybody had a great time even in the horrible weather. We would also like to thank Mr Ferris for helping to set up our dig site.
