Pathways and Transition

Try-A-Trade

Try-A-Trade is an excellent opportunity that assists students in making an informed decision about a career in the building and construction industry. Programs are available to students in Year 10 who have shown an interest in a trade but are unsure if this is the career they wish to pursue.

Try-A-Trade programs provide students with hands-on experience in a range of building and construction trades. Programs are delivered offsite by registered training organisations during normal school hours. The duration of the courses range from 1-3 days.
