Diorama Display - Year 2

Do you know how many different kinds of panda there are in the world? Does the word ‘binturong’ bring a picture of a specific animal to mind? What about tapirs … what country might you need to visit to see one of these?

To answer these and other questions please visit the school library where an impressive display of dioramas made by our creative Year 2 students displays their learning about animals found in various Asian countries. The Sumatran tiger and the Asian otter are two other animals depicted in their work.

Thank you to Mrs Jude Crowe, the students’ HASS teacher, for helping the children prepare their research for display. And well done, Year 2 students!

Premier's Reading Challenge

Congratulations to all students who succeeded in completing the Challenge this year and thank you to all teachers, parents and helpers who supported and encouraged our students to accomplish their goals.

We didn’t quite reach last year’s record, but across Primary and Secondary this year we had 146 students hand in completed PRC forms. Well Done!!

All data has now been entered on the PRC data base, and now the wait begins……. As usual awards will arrive, and be distributed, in late November.

Again, WELL DONE all.
