Year 12 students

As the end of year looms we focus especially on supporting our Year 12 students in their endeavours to complete assignments and prepare for exams. We wish them every blessing in this exciting and important stage of their school life.

Out of Africa

We have been blessed this term by the arrival of a family from the Democratic Republic of Congo with 5 children ranging from ELC to Year 9. Dr Luc and Mrs Delice Mulimbalimba with their children have joined our school and have been particularly encouraged by the very warm welcome of our staff and students. Dr Luc is a paediatric and maternity medical specialist, Director of a large school and pastor of a church. His work in all of these areas has been of immeasurable value to thousands of people in Africa. He has maintained strong connections with government and church agencies in Australia for many years. We are delighted to be assisting this beautiful family in a new chapter of their lives. You might wish to do a Google search of Dr Luc to catch a glimpse of his amazing life’s work.

A major fund-raising event has been planned for Sunday 24 November at the Echunga Memorial Institute – 23 Adelaide Road, Echunga. This has been organised by a large team of churches, support agencies and friends of the family. We are part of that team and you are all invited to this special event. There will also be a silent auction to support this family to settle into their new life whilst also supporting the ongoing work in Africa. You are warmly invited to participate in this special event. If you would like to attend, please follow the bookings and payment details on the pictured flyer.
