‘Mazza Wooly Warmers' Winter Appeal
The Mazenod Spirit of helping others could be seen around the College this morning when many of our students came to school wearing a colourful mixture of scarves, beanies, jumpers and jackets to donate to the Woolly Warmers appeal.
At this week’s assembly, Judd Ingleton and Wellington Chiwawa spoke to the whole school about the ever-increasing need for warm clothing amongst the homeless in our city, with recent statistics from the “Kids Under Cover Organisation” stating that children and young people make up 2 out of every 5 homeless people in Australia.
Lead by the Year 7 Leadership Team, today’s effort by our Mazenod Men is just one example of the great work done by the students at the College to help those in need.
